Oil prices rise on global markets

On the London ICE (Intercontinental Exchange), the price of Brent crude rose by $3.07 to $87.16 per barrel, while on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the price of Light crude increased by $2.69 to $81.95 per barrel.
