A delegation led by Jacob Francis Nzwidamilimo Mudenda, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Zimbabwe, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Honors in Baku on July 6.
The Speaker of the National Assembly paid tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the founder and architect of modern independent Azerbaijan, by laying a wreath and flowers at his grave.
The delegation also visited Victory Park in Baku, where its members laid a wreath at the Victory Monument.
During the visit, the delegation was provided with detailed information about Victory Park, which was established to preserve the memory of the unparalleled heroism displayed by the Azerbaijani people during the Patriotic War, commemorate the brilliant Victory, and honor the blessed memory of the martyrs for eternity.
