Sardarli village of Fuzuli district is located on the left bank of the Araz River, on the Mil plain.

The village was occupied by the Armenian armed forces in 1993. During the occupation, Armenian vandals destroyed the village and turned it into ruins.

The Sardarli village was liberated by the valiant Azerbaijani Army, which crushed the enemy in the Patriotic War.
