On July 23, the Sea Breeze Walk of Fame hosted an official unveiling ceremony for a personalized star dedicated to renowned Algerian singer Cheb Khaled.
The ceremony was held as part of of the DREAM FEST 2026 festival currently underway at Sea Breeze.
Cheb Khaled expressed his gratitude for the honor, adding that he was extremely happy to meet the Azerbaijani audience again.
Widely known as the "King of Raï," Khaled combines traditional Algerian melodies with pop, rock, blues, and electronic elements.
His songs, such as "Didi," "Aïcha," and "C’est la vie," helped bring North African music to the global pop landscape.
The Sea Breeze Walk of Fame is the first and only Walk of Fame in Azerbaijan dedicated to outstanding figures in culture and the arts. It currently honors 38 legendary personalities, including Muslim Magomayev, Ricky Martin, Will Smith, Nicole Scherzinger, David Foster, In-Grid, Vagif Mustafazadeh, and many others. The Walk of Fame continues to welcome new names of global significance, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the world of culture and the arts.
