A delegation of representatives of foreign Non-governmental organizations (NGO) from the Czech Republic, Poland, Finland, Turkiye, Estonia, Serbia and Romania have today visited the mass burial site found in Edilli village of Azerbaijan’s Khojavand district.

A delegation of representatives of foreign Non-governmental organizations (NGO) from the Czech Republic, Poland, Finland, Turkiye, Estonia, Serbia and Romania have today visited the mass burial site found in Edilli village of Azerbaijan’s Khojavand district.
The delegation members familiarized themselves with war crimes committed by Armenian armed forces against Azerbaijani citizens.
It was noted that the 12 people’s remains were discovered in the grave. It was emphasized that the clothes and belongings on the skeletons are indicators of the fact that these skeletons are the remains of servicemen. It was brought to the attention of the NGO representatives that the skeletons had their hands and legs tied with wire and rope.
It was also noted that the remains belong to civilians and prisoners of war that were missing during the First Karabakh War as a result of the Armenian aggression
