The leadership of the Ministry of Defense has visited the Alley of Honors to commemorate the architect and founder of modern Azerbaijani state, National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, the ministry told AZERTAC.

A wreath and flowers were laid at the grave of the Great Leader and tribute was paid to his memory.

Then, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense paid tribute and laid flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
